We know that as our discussions grow, following the “thread of the conversation” can sometimes get a little overwhelming. To help you navigate your interactions more easily, we’ve just rolled out a new visual update to Gyaanipedia Connect.
The “Self-Highlight” Feature
Starting today, you will notice that your own username—and mentions of your username—will appear with a subtle blue highlight.
Why the change?
- Quick Scanning: When scrolling through a long topic with dozens of replies, you can now instantly see where you’ve contributed or where someone has tagged you.
- Better Context: It helps you find your “anchor point” in a debate or a technical help thread without having to read every single name.
- Consistency: This aligns with our existing notification system, using the signature “Gyaanipedia Blue” to indicate things that are relevant specifically to you.
Does everyone see me in blue?
No! This is a personalized feature. Only you see your own name highlighted in blue. To everyone else, your name will appear in the standard site styling (unless they are a Moderator or part of a specific color-coded group).
Customizing Your Experience
